    we just got back from a washington d.c. trip with family and hope to spend as much time with daddy and the rest of our family as possible!

  5. Our summer is in full swing….we have already visited family and friends in Oregon and Washington and threw in an overnight camping trip in Santa Barbara, California. The rest of the summer will be spent relaxing at home.

  6. As much as we enjoy traveling, since my wife just started a new job recently, this is definitely a Summer for “staycationing.” If the rain will ever break (forecasts show some sun by July 11th), we’ll be hitting the pool on a semi-daily basis.

    Well, my Little Man is in daycare and I am trying to finish my thesis, so no “vacation” for us. But on days off during the summer we plan to spend lots of time outdoors – visiting beaches and provincial parks, attending summer festivals in our area, etc.

    My husband is a teacher, so our summers revolve around working in the yard and doing household projects with Dad.

  47. Our summer vacation includes lots of fresh air outside and plenty of family time! I love this time of year. We already hit the beach and now we are looking forward to seeing extending family many times over the next couple months.
