We have a 3 month old and since he is so little we aren’t going on vacation this summer. We will be going to see my family around Labor Day; otherwise, we’ll just be staying close to home.

With our summer vacation my daughter and I will be spending lots of time outside, tending the garden, playing in the sandbox, swimming at the lake, visiting with the neighbors. We are also participating in the local library summer reading program.

Our kids and I have been enjoying a wonderful summer vacation this year. Although they are only 3 & 17 months, we plan a daily activity. This has been a great season for all of us with the simple (but fun!) routine of doing something different every day. It could be as simple as taking a bike ride or a visit to the zoo or museum. It’s been wonderful and we’re all worn out and ready for naptime by the afternoon

The whole family is off to California to visit grandparents, etc, during our “vacation” time. That’s about all we have planned for this summer…but it will be the first time our oldest can actually enjoy and understand the beach, so I’m looking forward to it!

This summer, we will be attending Vacation Bible School, camping and attending a church convention.

My littles are spending the rest of the summer at home, going to local attractions (museums, outdoor concerts, etc). After a month of visiting family we are tired of being away.

We are going off to a cabin in the middle of the woods and spending a week exploring nature there. We hope that by the time we get back and the month of Ramadan starts we could do some spiritual growth together.
