This is something we as a family are trying to do more of this summer. We are outdoors every single day, with our journals, cameras, and sometimes just with a blanket to lay among the world and listen, watch, simply being still within the chaos that can be around us – it is bringing us together and I find my children ask for our outdoor time more than they ask for the television. Appreciate these posts, its speaking to my heart.

I think every day this week I’ll go outside with my baby and sit in the grass. She’ll love touching and seeing the green colors and I’ll love just relaxing with no goal to reach; just relaxing and seeing.
