A deep breath at the end of the day (and some ebooks)

I“m stealing a few moments for myself during the end-of-day quiet.  Do you hear that?  I don”t either.

Isn”t it wonderful?

While I”m enjoying the peace and quiet, I thought I”d let you know about a some good ebook deals, in case you”re on the hunt for some extra reading material to get you through the rest of the Summer.

First, I know that not all of you are in holiday planning mode (even though I am, yes, one of those crazy people – with the Pinterest board to prove it) but even if you aren”t thinking about jingle bells and peppermint right now, you will be eventually.

In the meantime, while you are enjoying your flip flops and popsicles, Jessica of Life As Mom has written an ebook that will help keep your holiday season blissfully simple and it is currently FREE for Kindle on Amazon (through 7/26).  You can pick up your FREE copy of A Simpler Season here.

FYI, the Kindle version of A Simpler Season does NOT come with the printables.  However, you can pick those up for $3 at the Life As Mom estore if you need them.

The Bundle of the Week this week is a homemaking bundle.  For this week only, you can pick up 4 ebooks plus more than 300 printables for just $7.40, a savings of more than 75%!

Included in the bundle:

Last but not least:  don”t tell the kids, but it’s almost time for school to start! Shhhhhhhh.

Making preparations now can reduce back-to-school anxieties and help avoid potential failures. The Confident Mom Back 2 School Survival Guide has everything you need to get your children and family ready!  You can purchase it now, and then maybe forget about it for a few more weeks until you”re ready to face the thought of pencils, books, and packed lunches again (I won”t tell).

But, in the meantime, here”s to enjoying these last weeks of Summer, soaking up every bit of their goodness (and ice cream drippy-ness) while we have them.

We surprised the kids by walking to the ice cream shop tonight, which was pretty much perfect.

Now, I”m going to go knit a few rows on my Oaklet shawl and maybe see if I can”t find a piece of leftover chocolate zucchini cake in the kitchen.  See you tomorrow!
