Giveaway: Kiwi Crate 6 month subscription

Today I get to announce the second giveaway of our annual Home for the Holidays week! This is one of my very favorite recommendations for parents of crafty kids, and it would make a fantastic holiday gift:  a six month subscription to Kiwi Crate.

We love Kiwi Crate at our house!  Those green boxes are heralded with shouts of joy when my kids find them in the mailbox because they know fun is held within.

Back in September I let you in on my secret for how I “do it all” with the kids – homeschooling, crafting, parenting, etc. The not-so-secret secret is that I let other people do some of the work for me.

Enter Kiwi Crate:  a monthly subscription service with themed crafts for your kids that, get this, includes everything you need in the box.  You just have to gather your children, open the box, and get started.  Ta da!  You get to be one of those fun parents able to pull together a crafting session with your kids at a moment”s notice.

We”ve been crafting and exploring with one of their holiday themed crates this month, making a cardboard “gingerbread” house and some ornaments.  So much fun!

Kiwi Crate was recently being named one of Dr. Toy”s 100 Best Children”s Products for 2012.

Ideal for children ages 3 to 7,  though my fifth grader loves it as well, this service costs $19.95 per month. As I mentioned everything you need is included in the box, but parents of more than one child will appreciate that you can add on extra materials for a sibling.

I appreciate the realistic “messy-factor” rating. Some crafts are messier than others, and while that doesn’t stop me from sharing them with the kids, it is nice to know about that ahead of time so that I can pick the right craft for the moment.

Kiwi Crate has 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions available.  You can also sign up month to month and you can cancel your subscription at any time.  They also have some neat holiday themed crates and some ideas for stocking stuffers available now.

Would you like to win a six month subscription to Kiwi Crate?

Friends, I would be so excited for you to be able to give the gift of a six month subscription to Kiwi Crate to a little one in your life this holiday season!  I just know you”re going to love it as much as my family does!
