The little elves at my house have been busy this week. We’re finishing up handmade gifts, including these fun pancakes in a jar which will be heading to my dad, Grandpa Mike, the kids’ favorite pancake maker. Don’t tell Grandma, but we’ve mixed some sweet treats in for a custom mix.
We got the idea for this fun DIY gift from Krusteaz and Catherine McCord of Weelicious fame. I’m a big fan of Weelicious and I know that many of you are, too.
I’m excited to share that Catherine is hosting a live webcast event this weekend sharing some more easy ideas, like these simple pancakes in a jar.
Live Baking Event
You can tune in for the free webcast from across the country on Saturday, December 14 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM EST taking place at www.krusteaz.com/holidays.
Catherine will be making five special, simple holiday recipes and sharing great ideas for holiday gifts of food! Since “simple” is what I’m all about, especially this holiday season, I’m really looking forward to the event.
Krusteaz is encouraging friends and family to get together for their own baking parties to get the holiday baking season started right! Just go to Krusteaz.com/holidays and don’t forget to use #KrusteazHolidays to spread the word.
Seize the What If Facebook Contest
Krusteaz has kicked off the “Seize the What If” Facebook Contest with a chance to win a kitchen oven makeover! That sounds pretty merry, right?
To enter the contest, simply select your favorite Krusteaz product, add in three original ingredients and name your unique recipe. All entries are eligible to receive a coupon for free product. Out of all these submissions, 10 finalists will be selected who will win a year’s supply of Krusteaz. Head to the Facebook page for details.
FYI, I have received a copy of Weelicious, One Family One Meal, so look for my review in the new year. We’re having a delicious time with this one!
